Match report Skipper Subhash Patel won the toss and decided to bat first with a very young side. With both openers Devon Maniccadevan and Bal Teerath falling quick, young buck Eshun Kalley came to the crease, to provide support to the innings with 53 with the help of Vinnay with 39 not out. With Parks all out for 164 we knew we had to put up a good bowling attack.
Parks opened the bowling with Surya Prusty (6-0-24-0) and Karan Taggar (7-0-31-0) and both colts bowled very well. However they were unable to get a wicket. Ryan Karuna (5-0-17-2) bowled superbly with support from Vinnay (8-0-33-3). Parks were getting wickets consistently and it looked like the match was in our favour. However South Loughton were able to chase the total down in 38overs making it a very tight match. They finished on 165 for 5. The Parks’ young colts were all very impressive and didn't give up.
