Match report Old Parks lost the toss and asked to bowl on a very wet morning. Against what looked like a strong opposition. Dhruv Patel (5-0-51-0)and Vikram Handa (6-2-19-2) opened the bowling. Aman Patel (5-3-7-1) and Akhil Patel (6-2-19-3) followed with new joiner Vinay proving to be most useful as a spinner taking 3 wickets for 38 runs of five and a half overs to leave Great and Little Warley on 200 for 10 after 36 overs in the 40 over friendly match. The opposition number 4 bat Ankit making the biggest knock of the day on 84 not out.
Old Parks batting was not a good match for the excellent bowling from the opposition. Stan Foley opened with Shahid Khan before shahid was caught and bowled early. Other wickets fell cheaply until Dhruv Patel recovered some ground working with Stan. Stan eventually got out caught having made 41 and Dhruv 38. Other good contributions came from Hanish and Akhil.
Alas Old Parks struggled to make the chase and finished the day as light was fading on 169 for 8.
