Match report On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning Ilford CC having won the toss elected to bowl first. Opening with Arun Kullar & Akhil Patel, both batsmen started well before Akhil was bowled for 2. Incoming batsman Sahil Handa, followed by Pragash were unable to bother the opposition too much by scoring 7 & 1 respectively. Next in Ronan Karuna, along with Arun Kullar began to take the opposition to task with Arun Kullar being retired Not Out with yet another 50. Ronan Karuna, was also retired Not Out on a well made 29. The next pair Surya and Karambir, both also played well with Surya getting out on 24 & Karambir retired not out on 18. With the help of the other lower order batsmen Old Parks were able to finish the allotted 24 overs on 168 for 6 wickets. In response Ilford C.C made a very commendable effort to overhaul the Old Parks target, but fell short by 2 runs, as Ilford were able to score 167 for 7 of their allocated 24 overs.For Old Parks; Aman, Morgan, Ronan, Akhil took a wicket each. Overall a great U15 match between 2 equally matched teams.
