Match report This was a match against Div 2 team Gidea Park and we had a nice mixture of 1st team players and higly talented youngsters.

We batted first and constructed a decent 147. With highlights being Kiru Jayas powerful 54 and Jibran Azams fluent 32. All the others contributed with plenty of good batting, to see us bat the full overs and register a competitive score.

The talk was of it being a decent total and of us pulling of a shock win to register the clubs first T20 win for quite a while. We knew it would require a team effort full of commitment, the lads seemed keen to get the job done in a proffessional manner.

We bowled and fielded superbly to always keep gidea park behind the rate. All did a good job with the ball, with Jibran Azam impressing with his economical spin, as well as good tight bowling from Jonathon Balakumar who also impressed. It came down to the death with Dilion Patel bowling a composed last over to see us to a comfortable victory.

A very pleasing result and win. With a lot of good performances from a young team.
