Match report Old Parks were inserted on a dodgy pitch and the openers had to endure some tight bowling. With an outfield slowed by overnight rain and showers during the game, runs were at a premium. It was only Chris Nutt who had the patience and skill to mount any kind of score, though skipper Suresh Raval, kept him company in a 4th wicket partnership of 66. Nutt was eventually 7th out for 64, his 2nd successive 60 (surely this man cannot retire?!). Old Parks finished with a score of 162 for 9, with Epping's Tim Adams taking 5 for 43. In reply Epping started brightly, but their innings was interrupted twice by rain. Dave Knight held the innings together most of the time and scored 61. However, the Parks continued to take wickets through their younger players and by the close Epping were down to their last pair (of 10 players), finishing on 114 for 8. Wicket takers for the Parks were Taran Bhatia 7-1-32-3; Zubayr Iqbal 7-1-27-2; Nimanka de Silva 7-1-25-3.
