Match report In a thrilling finish to this Len Stentiford match Old Parks won with a single on the last ball of the game.
Prakash Seeralan (4-0-16-5) produced an excellent spell of bowling with four wickets in his last over, including a hatrick to restrict Upminster to 114 for 5.
Parks started well with Inquiyad Chowdhry (18), Muaaz Ansari (15)and Dhruv Patel (20) all reaching double figures. The game started to swing in Upminsters favour after the fall of those batsman until the hard hitting Zubayr Iqbal brought Parks within winning distance with 22 runs including a 6. By the last over only three runs were required with 8 wickets down, the ninth wicket fell to the third ball with 2 still required, Rohan Shivalkar hit the winning run from the final ball. An exciting game was enjoyed by all.
