Match report The best fielding performance in the Matchplay competition this year, saw Parks take all their catches, Adam Goldman(3)and Luke Coates(3)in particular were outstanding. After Parks opening seam attack with Taara Naqvi taking a fine caught and bowled gave way to the spinners, the wickets began to fall Pirratheesh Vignesvarathasan (7-0-28-2), Ravi Raval (8-2-19-2) and the superb Janagan Vijayanthan (8-0-29-4). Hainault and Clayhall finished their 40 overs on 161 for 9.
Parks (161 for 3) started their innings in style with Daniel Shalom (17) and Ravi Raval (43 ) in a first wicket partnership of 53 in only 10 overs. Taaha Naqvi (52 not out) them played an excellent innings against H&C's, spinners hitting any loose ball to or over the boundary. Jamie Gordon (16 not out) and Taaha saw Parks pass the target in the 29th over, against the previously unbeaten H&C side.
