Match report Parks lost the toss but were happy to bat first in the heat of the day after being inserted by Chingford. The going was slow up top, but the new ball was seen off by Alan Bouquet (17) and Usman Rafiq (32). THis meant that young Rohitraj Ananeraj came in with something of a platform. He batted exceptionally against a good attack and only fell running a third on the last ball of the innings for 84. Some lusty blows from Ibrahim Iqbal (20) meant Parks had 219 to defend - a good score on a tricky batting pitch.

The second innings started well, with Sanjay Fernando bowling well and picking up two wickets, ably supported with 1 one for Matt Holland. Unfortunately Parks spilled several catches including the key man Butt who went on to make 120 not out. He took the game away from Parks and despite a couple of late wickets, Chingford cruised to their target. It leaves Parks precariously placed in eighth and needing a win next week against bottom team Harlow.
