Match report On a sunny warm Saturday, Parks entertained Brentwood 5ths for the last of the initial overs matches. Parks were determined to put the previous week's mistakes right and elected to field first after winning the toss on a damp and soft wicket.

A new opening ball pair was trialed in Nimanka De Silve and Aman Patel for the first time. Both bowlers did not disappoint and bowled exceptionally well making life difficult for the Brentwood top order. Both bowlers bowled their 8 overs straight giving away just 17 runs and taking 4 wicked in the process after 16 overs. Nimanka (8 overs 3 for 7), Aman (8 overs 1 for 8).

All follow up bowlers chipped in and kept the run rate well below average for the pitch and Brentwood ended their innings with 116 all out after 38.4 overs. It was pleasing to see a much improved fielding performance by the team and every catch on offer was taken. Other notable bowling performances came from Chetan (5.4 overs 3 for 16), Santron (4 overs 2 for 21) and Gurmit (2 overs 1 for 8). Luke Ranns top scored for Brentwood with a hard fought 30.

Parks opened the chase with the previously tried and tested opening pair Bhavick and returning Chetan after his injury. Bhavick started his innings in his usual attacking mode. Chetan started the innings cautiously but gave away his wicket to a loose shot caught at square leg. Fazan Habib joined Bhavik and played some beautiful cover drives with a classic high front elbow. Both batsman looked comfortable against the Brentwood bowling attack and reached the target of 117 on the 16th over and in the process both reached their 50s and remained not out.

Another good win to maintain the top of the league position before moving to the time games starting next week.
