Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won By 11 Runs

Match report Fives & Heronians won the toss & chose to bowl. The game started of on a slow note with careful batting from the openers. It was the 3rd over when unfortunately Rehaan Ahmed was bowled. Satwik Morti came in to bat & Parks’ Azmain Sikder started taking quick runs to aid the score. Both batsmen retired not out & in came young Nilay Tejura & Zain Arghandawi who, rotated the strike-both retired not out with 10 runs between them & with Nilay scoring a boundary.
Jeevan Sehmby & Abdullah Mohammed Hafeez were next, however with some tight overs, unfortunately, Abdullah was caught & both found it difficult to put some runs on the scoreboard.
Next in were Ayaan Usman & Shaan Pall, who managed to add some more runs, with Shaan scoring a boundary before he also got caught.
Ibad Usman & Sheharyar Chaudhry were the last two batsmen & they made a good effort to increase the runs- unfortunately Ibad was bowled & caught early on, after which opener Azmain came in to finish the last over with Sheharyar & Parks came away with a final score of 117-4.

Fives & Heronians put in a good effort to chase the score, however, excellent bowling from Ayaan in his first over saw him take the opener out. Rehaan bowled another wicket 2 overs later.
With the 5th, 6th & 7th overs being maidens, including Jeevan’s first maiden over of the season, a wicket of Ayaan’s 2nd over & a run out by Sheharyar during the same, Fives were struggling to make the runs needed to win.
Further on Satwik bowled his first maiden over of the season too & Azmain took a wicket of his first delivery.
Great bowling was balanced with a good few extras, which caused the game to become a tight win, however a crucial last over by Ibad saw Fives restricted to 11 runs less as they scored 106- 5.OPCC Won
