Match report Oakfield welcomed Chigwell for this friendly fixture. The home captain duly won the toss and elected to bat first on a very green looking track. Scoring was tricky as the ball failed to come on and Chigwell's bowlers took the pace of the ball. Jaydeep Dhuria (57) saw of the new ball and batted maturely for a patient half century. He was well supported by Skipper Usman Rafiq (55) who batted determinedly for his half century. Both departed trying to increase the run rate and an explosive cameo from Aman Ali (31) enabled Park's to post 196 from their allotted 40 overs.

Over tea Park's knew this would prove to be a competitive total in bowler friendly conditions. Daud Aghandawi (8-0-21-1) opened up and kept the opposition batsmen quiet he was well supported by colts Mathew Holland and then Suleman Shaheen who picked up another wicket. Chigwell's batsmen kept up with the required rate and it was the spin bowlers who turned things around. The talented youngster Om Thakeria (8-0-19-2) was the pick of the bowlers. Chigwell needed 25 of the last 2 overs as the experienced Mazham Ali stepped up and saw Parks home finishing with figures of (6-0-28-1).
Park's ended up winning by 10 runs.
