Match report Parks batted first on a warm day against 9 man South Woodford. Although a few wickets were lost to some rash shots, Parks made the most of the situation and got to 252/7 in just 42 overs before declaring, leaving 53 overs to bowl South Woodford out.

Haaris Shah was the star with the bat, hitting 72 runs in quick time. Jaydeep Dhuria made a not out 52 at the other end, with further contributions from Usman Rafiq (32) and Pranav Khetia (29).

South Woodford looked to bat out for the draw and it was hard work to break through. Captain Steven Hall batted well to hold off Parks for much of the game.Matt Holland bowled well to record figures of 2/25, and Ibrahim Iqbal 2/37. With only 5 overs left to take the final wicket, Faisal Chaudary produced a pinpoint throw from the boundary over the top of the stumps to produce a run out, meaning Parks won by 72 runs.

It means the 3s are now guaranteed promotion with 1 game left next week, but they could still finish top with another good result.
