Match report Parks were looking to get back to winning ways in their away game against Leigh on Sea on the back of two defeats.

Leigh on Sea skipper won the toss and Parks were put into bat. Faisal Bhatti (28) and Shane (24) got the innings off to a decent start but both lost their wicket in the space of 3 overs. This brought James Foley and Harry Markatis to the crease which saw the pair load on a 162 run partnership. Foley was the main aggressor scoring the bulk of the runs in sublime fashion as he hit 10 fours and 5 sixes on his way to 101. However, they both fell in back to back overs and Parks had a lot to do with 2 new batsmen at the crease for the last 10 overs. Kalley (27), Handa (28) and Bhatia (37) duly delivered putting on a show in the last ten which parks managed to take 100 runs off helping them climb to 321-8 off their allotted 45 overs.

In reply Leigh on Sea started well until Sahil Handa removed their opening bat and danger man for 45. After this Parks really turned the screws and the runs dried up for the home side. All the bowlers did their part but it was Faisal Bhatti that really took the game away from Leigh on Sea ending with figures of 9-5-10-2 wickets bowling an unbelievable spell.

Good solid win for Parks to get them back on track but they must continue to take things one game at a time.
