Match report Parks faced Guidea Park & Romford in their seventh game of the season off the back of 5 wins on the trot.

Skipper Harry Markatis won the toss and elected to bowl first as Parks have chased well so far this season. Sifth Ali (9-1-40-1) and Ronan Karuna (9-1-39-2) both bowled brilliantly with the new ball limiting the opposition with the fielding restrictions in place. However, Parks let it slip in the middle overs with a few catches being put down which could of changed the course of the match. Guidea Park finishing with 250-6 after being 65-2 off 20 overs.

In reply despite the loss of a few early wickets Parks were up with the rate climbing to 147-3 off 25 overs. Vikram Handa (76) again producing with the bat with another fine innings before being dismissed. Parks continued to tick along nicely but wickets continued to fall and they were bowled out for 229 falling 21 runs short of the target.

Overall, Parks should be disappointed but not disheartened as it was fine margins that decided this game. But yet again they must improve in the field as they could have easily been chasing less than 200 on another day.
