Match report The 3s played mid-table Wanstead this week in another must win game. Despite losing the toss, Parks got what they wanted, which was first go with the ball. The opening overs were incredibly tight, with Jonathan Balakumar and Amar Thanki both bowling excellent spells at 1 run an over or less. Amar finished with figures of 1/6 off 8 overs! Ibrahim Iqbal (1/24 off 9) then continued the good work along with a superb spell from spinner Pranav Khetia.

With the score at 35/1 off 25 overs, something had to give, and gradually the pressure paid off. Excellent catching again from Parks helped, with onyl 1 catch dropped all day. Pranav finished with figures of 3/28 off 12 overs, and Ryan Karuna chipped in with 4/20 at the death to wrap the innings up for just 108.

The reply started smoothly, with 55 from Vikram Handa leading the way. There was a small setback however, when J Radford picked up Vikram and then 2 more wickets for a fine hat trick. It was only a temporay set back however, and Haaris Shah guided the chase to ensure Parks had a comfortable win yet again, with 6 wickets in hand.
