Match report It was a good toss to win for Parks as the wicket looked good for batting. Openers Faisal Bhatti and Jibran Azam started well as both improvised putting bad balls away to the boundary. Jibran looked good as he pulled anything short of length and cut anything outside off. Faisal(20) threw his wicket away after a good start chasing one outside off. In came Haris Khan who has been incredible form joined his skipper and carried on with his form. The pair frustrated the bowlers and even the fielders as they saw flurry of boundaries and occasionally saw the ball floating over the boundary rope. Jibran was ruthless as he hit few lusty blows to reach his fifty. Haris who looked well to reach yet another half century was cleaned by a low full toss. In came Ramya, with a purpose, and showed his class with two steps down the wicket hitting the ball straight down the ground for a fabulous four. Jibran, on the other side of the wicket, applauded the shot. The pair continued to score freely. Jibran was in prime form as he ruthlessly put away bad balls to the boundary and ran well with his partner. He reached his first ton the year pumping his fist in the air, rose his bat to celebrate a well deserved hundred.
The pair continued to mount misery on the opposition and reached 200 mark in a flash. Jibran then tried to hit one but only managed to top edge one straight in air. The damage had been done by then. Jibran left the field with a mammoth 134. Ramya then took over and continued to rotate the strike. But then heavens opened up with Parks on 258 for 5 in 38.4 overs. No more play was possible as it continued to rain.
