Match report Parks proved too good for the Old Brentwood.

On a hot sunny day Parks were asked to bowl first after losing the toss. It was not a bad toss to lose as the new ball pair Abdul Usman and Arshad Mughal bowled with control and kept the pressure on openers. Abdul Usman, playing his first league game for the 1st eleven, was impressive early on as he kept bowling his in dippers and got an early break through with a in swinging full toss that hit the pads right in front of the wickets. He then induced a false shot from number three edging it to the Jai Patel behind the stumps. Arshad Mughal was impressive as usual as he kept bowling tight line and was rewarded with two wickets. A middle order partnership between Dohal and Iqbal looked threatening before Azam removed the dangerous Iqbal trying to pull one of a good length. From there it was all Aman Ali's show who bowled with excellent flight and varying length. The young buck was very impressive as he finished with four wickets. Old Brentwoods finished on 242 while the pick of the bowlers were Arshad Mughal (10-6-8-2) and Aman Ali (8.3-0-44-4).

Parks in return looked dangerous from the work go. Glen started the fireworks and Faisal followed him after. Parks were 65 for none in 9 overs when Glen was bowled by Ubhi trying to hit him through mid wicket. In came Vikram Handa who was due a big innings considering the talent he has. He responded well by accumulating runs off boundaries and running hard between the wickets. Faisal did what he does the best. In complete control he kept guiding Parks towards the target and hitting any lose ball towards the boundary. Both batsmen were stumped while trying to get to their hundreds. Jai Patel and Rana Arslan finished the game with 15.1 overs remaining. An excellent win keeps the title hope alive.
