Playing on the hottest day of the year without 3 regular players, the youngsters coped very well by beating Frenford CC by 8 wickets.

Put into bat by the opposition, captain Paran Kalley used 10 bowlers who all responded well and restricted Frenford to 115 for 7 of the allocated 20 over’s. Today’s best bowling figures going to Inderjit Singh who took 2 wickets for 5 runs of 2 over’s.

In response both openers Paran Kalley & Arun Kullar, got us of to a flying start. In a matter of a few over’s Paran was retired not out on 32. Arun made 28 before being stumped down the leg side. The incoming batsmen were rarely troubled. Abdul Usman remained not on 19 and Kartheghan Thavanesan made 15. In the end OPCC got to 116 of 17.1 over’s.
