Match report Ilford Lions batted powerfully for their 40 overs against an Old Parks bowling attack lacking any real power fire.

Qais Khan bowled very well to get 2 wickets, clearly a player for the future. Amar Thanki also bowled a good opening spell. Suja Naqvi also kept superbly and again is another young lad with a bright future.

Chasing 266 was always going to be tough and with 3 early wickets removing our front 3 batters the chase was never on. Dave Rai batted well to get 52. However the highlight again was young Qais Khan who remained unbeaten on 30 playing some stylish shots in a mature innings.
