Match report A bright morning was the start to another outdoor match for 2019 , our U13 Team met Hornchurch CC in the Len Stentiford Competition.
Colts U13 Captain (Mannan Arora ) lost the toss and the opposition team decided to bat first. This decision by Hornchurch CC was not what we planned , Hornchurch had a slow start , OPCC kept the bowling tight by giving the least extra followed by decent fielding. The first innings was over by Hornchurch CC , they scored 85 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 8 wickets, we had some great overs from Kaj Skandamoorthy 3-0-7-3 , Charith Jatla 3-0-17-2 , Yash Voladri 2-0-12-2 , Poorvasai Vanan 3-0-7-0.

In return OPCC faced the second innings thinking it isn’t a big score, we had disaster when we lost some early strong wickets too early , but some fine game by Poorvasai Vanam , Daniel Imran and Krishan Dilipkumar and quick shots from Aayush Desai some how managed the score and won the game in 16.5 overs with a loss of 6 wickets.
Overall it was a brilliant game by our young Colts and they performed and behaved very well on the field plus all the players made sure they supported and encouraged when our batmen were on the pitch and we gave very few extras compared to the opposition .
