Match report Woodford Wells hosted Oakfield Parkonians in the last round of the Brian Taylor fixtures.
Wells won the toss & elected to bat opening with singles & boundaries putting the pressure on Parks from the onset.
The first wicket was Parks’ Nilay Tejura’s 
(3-0-13-1), as he clean bowled the opener followed by a run out by Sheharyar Chaudhry (3-0-22-1), from his own bowling.
The 3rd wicket came a good while later, during the 18th over after a worrying 137 runs, from Ayaan Usman’s (3-0-17-1) delivery, finishing up with the 4th & final run out during the 23rd over by Sheharyar’s quick keeping of Tenny Marianayagaun’s
(2-0-13-0) bowling.
At the close of their innings, Wells had scored 186-4 off 25 overs.

For Parks it was Ayaan & Sheharyar who were first in to bat, but bad luck was in store for Parks, as one after another, they failed to score with 3 early wickets during the 2nd & 3rd over.
Prajen, Ayman Rifan & Haider Bin-Vakas, tried to add some vital runs to the score for their team, but struggled to score into double figures with their opponents putting on a tidy display of bowling & fielding.
Ayaan Usman (25) had made a momentum with his batting when unfortunately he was lbw’d during the 8th over, coming away with the highest number of runs for his team.
With a consistent fall of wickets, in almost every over, Parks unfortunately finished up at 13.5 overs 78-9 failing to match their opponents.
