Match report The boys came into this game with a point to prove against a very strong Brentwood attack that had conceding less than 90 runs in their opening two league games and bowling their oppositions out cheaply.

It was a beautiful May afternoon at Parks and OPCC won the toss and we elected to bowl first. Parks got off to another good start with the ball with opening bowler Tarun getting 2 wickets in 2 balls (9.3-2-52-5). Although his figures do not show it but Tarun bowled well on a Parks pitch that didn't offer anything to the bowlers. Brentwood batted well and got 225 all out. The third game in a row our bowling attack had bowled a team out and as a bowling unit we should be happy as it is not easy in the prem.

Parks started their innings as a it went on. Losing wickets in clusters and batsmen throwing their wickets away. It was a disappointing effort with the bat, with a team that had such great depth didn't perform and it is something that we are annoyed about. Parks look to put it right against Woodford Wells next week and look to get another win on the board.

Well done Tarun for getting his first 5 wicket haul for the club, hopefully that was the first of many to come.
