Match report With a week of heavy rain, the pitch for this weeks game was damp and hard to play strokes on. Bowling first, Parks piled on the pressure with good catching and some steady bowling, reducing Hainault and Clayhall to 50/5 before the first rain break. Unfortunately the rain came at the right time for the home team, and regrouping after the break they managed to recover to post a competitive 166/10. Pick of the bowlers was Nav Kalley, who picked up 6/48.

The reply started poorly, with the openers falling before 10 runs were on the board. Things only got worse and at 60/6 with another 20 overs remaining, Parks had to play for the draw and forget about any hopes of a win. Young Bhavdeep Sehmi, making his 3s debut, batted superbly alongside captain Alan Bouquet to ensure that the game was saved, but Parks only picked up 4 points int his game, and will need to bat much better next week to get their first win.
